Description
In 2005, a delegation of folks from the Syracuse, Ithaca, and Cortland communities visited the Movimiento Campesion de Cajibio (the MCC, or in Engish, the Small Farmers Movement of Cajibio) in southwest Colombia, and the CNY-Cajibio sister-city relationship began. Since, we have hosted 3 Colombian activists here in Central New York and have sent 3 delegations to Cajibio, Colombia. In 2010, we will to invite members of the MCC to visit our Central New York, to learn from one another and to advance our common struggle for peace and justice. Join us to celebrate the friendship between CNY and Colombia at Solidarity Salsa:Fiesta Hermandad!
