Learn about opportunities in Syracuse to access special loan funds, training programs and other technical assistance meant to combat legacies of discrimination toward minority and woman business owners. Also, review the basics about getting certified as a Minority or Woman Business Enterprise (M/WBE) by the city, state, and federal governments. M/WBE certification is useful for businesses that contract their services to government-funded agencies. It allows greater access to certain government-funded projects.
